5 things we learnt during last night’s show
The Islanders picked themselves back up after the game of News Splash and Demi fell straight back down after she tripped on the garden step! Here’s what we learnt during last night’s show…
1. Priscilla stands up for herself
After hearing the headlines that Mike made during News Splash, Priscilla needed to get a few things off her chest and she owned the whole situation like a boss.
Calling Mike out on the fact she’s the fourth girl he’s been with in the villa, she said: “I just don’t want to be sold a dream, like I’m not a d***head, I’m nobody’s last, I’m nobody’s side… I am the s***.”
That’s one way to tell a guy you’re not a side dish!
2. Demi can own a fall
The finish on Demi’s unfortunate fall down one of the garden steps was absolutely iconic.
Instead of scrambling back up straight away, she lingered on the ground and rolled onto her back until she was fully flat on the floor, embracing the fall in all its glory.
If you’re going to fall over, fall over like Demi.
3. Shaughna gets flustered when she flirts
Who’d have thought Shaughna could get so shy over a boy?! Instead of spurting out the first thought that hit her head as usual, she stumbled over her words and left sentences unfinished as she pulled Luke M for a chat to tell him how she really feels.
If that’s not a true sign of fancying someone, we’re not sure what is!
4. Siânnise and Luke T are good arguers
Luke T made a good point when he explained the perks of he and Siânnise surviving their first proper argument.
Waking up the morning after and following from a few cuddles no doubt, he turned to her and said: “I think it’s good to know how to argue, because we argued quite well, I thought… We didn’t shout over each other - we listened to each other!”
This boy can see the positive in everything and we love it.
5. Jamie used to have a mullet
An embarrassing haircut is a right of passage growing up and not even the Islanders were exempt from experiencing such trauma.
As Jamie and Natalia swapped stories about their hair colours, Jamie divulged the details of one awful hairstyle in particular. Explaining the incident, he said: “I had a ginger mullet when I was younger... I used to be able to straighten it.”
How we WISH we could see a picture!
