7 things we learnt during last night’s show

A game of Suck and Blow showed some saucy truths about the Islanders and Rebecca revealed which two boys she has her eyes on! Here’s what we learnt last night...

1. Sophie really does have a connection with Connor

The arrival of bombshell Rebecca had quite the impact on our Islanders, and for Sophie in particular, the shock made her realise her true feelings for Connor.

Chatting to the other girls as Connor headed to the Hideaway for some one-on-one time with the new bombshell, Sophie said: “I feel like if anything it’s made me like original Connor more.”

You can always count on a bombshell to make you realise your true feelings…

2. Rebecca makes perfect poached eggs

Getting to know each other in the Hideaway, Rebecca revealed that she’s kind of a big deal when it comes to poaching eggs.

Chatting to Connor, she said: “I’m like the poached egg queen. I’ll be in the kitchen, getting them eggs on the go!”

Any girl that talks about food within 10 minutes of being on a date is our kind of girl. Welcome to the villa, Rebecca!

3. Toast is crucial in a moment of crisis

To calm their nerves after the arrival of Rebecca, the girls did what we all do when we’re stressed - they ate.

Racing to the kitchen, they made toasties galore and sat around sharing their worries and concerns. Proof that there isn’t anything a cup of tea and slice of toast can’t help!

4. Sophie gives a great dirty look

When Shaughna asked Sophie to give Callum and Rebecca a dirty look, who knew such a scowl would spread across Sophie’s face!?

Within a few seconds of her starting the stare, Shaughna interrupted her saying: “Oh s*** Sophie, bring it back a little bit. I don’t want you to fight him!”

5. Rebecca is a closed book

During her chat with Connagh, Rebecca didn’t beat around the bush when it came to talking about her game plan in the villa.

Sat by the side of the pool with their legs swaying in the water, Connagh asked her the question we were all thinking: who does she have her eyes on?

Rebecca simply answered: “I’m not gonna tell people who I want or why I want them.”

6. Sophie is a shocking liar

Sophie’s attempt at lying is a reminder that for some people, lying definitely doesn’t come naturally.

When Connagh pulled her to one side to find out if she'd had a kiss with Connor the previous night, Sophie denied it initially but then came clean literally 30 seconds later!

Explaining her rubbish attempt at a lie, she said: “I’m not even going to lie. Actual s*** just came out of my mouth.”

Sophie might want to work on her poker face if she wants to avoid awkward situations like that in the future…

7. Shaughna thinks Mike has a game plan

Things got serious during Suck and Blow when Shaughna was asked to kiss the Islander that she thinks has the biggest game plan.

She picked Mike and when he asked her to explain her decision she said: “I feel like because you know you’re very, very, very secure, you might try and meddle in other little things.”
