6 things we learnt from last night's show

We witnessed one of the most awkward silences we’ve ever seen and got an insight into Mike’s true feelings for Leanne! Here’s what went down on day 3 in the villa...

1. Siânnise is ‘starting to grow’ on Nas

You’ve got to love Nas and his questionable delivery of compliments… In what we think was an attempt to show some affection for Siânnise, he muddled his words and delivered the compliment with a good dose of cheekiness.

Chatting to her he said: “There’s something about you that’s starting to grow on me…”

The words that every girl dreams of hearing…

2. Shaughna gives a great cold shoulder

Shaughna’s swerve from Callum when he returned from his date with Eve was nothing short of amazing.

As she realised her path was about to cross with the boys, she took a swift left, skimming the pool and avoided interaction with Callum at all costs. Her commitment to steering clear of him was pretty inspirational tbh.

3. The girls can sit in a seriously awkward silence

Can we take a moment to appreciate just how awkward this moment was.

There was not a peep to be heard from the seven girls after the uncomfortable debrief following Eve and Jess’s dates with the boys - the room was so quiet that you’d literally have been able to hear a pin (or pair of fake lashes) drop.

4. Leanne gives Mike butterflies

While chatting with Paige about his situation with Jess and Leanne, Mike revealed that he’s had a change of heart since being in his new couple.

Putting all his cards on the table, he said: “It was nice waking up next to Jess but at the same time, when I woke up, and I looked at Leanne, I felt a type of way… I had little butterflies.”

5. Shaughna’s competitive side is coming out

Honesty is always the best policy but we didn’t know Shaughna would be quite so honest to Eve about her feelings for Callum!

Talking openly about their interest over the same Islander, it became pretty clear that neither girl is willing to step down. Shaughna’s summed up the chat perfectly when she said: “May the best woman win.”

Game on, ladies!

6. Mike is in the dog house

Day three in the villa and the new dog house (the flashy fold out bed in the lounge) is already getting used!

You’ve got to give it to Mike for popping himself there voluntarily though! Opening up to Leanne about his true feelings for her, he said: “I'm putting myself in the dog house tonight because I don’t think it’s fair to her [Jess]. And it’s obviously not what I want…”
