Exclusive: Britney Spears says 'it's OK to be single'

Britney's back and life couldn't be better for the pop princess!

In an exclusive interview with Dan Wootton, the 34-year-old star said that she's in a really good place and is enjoying her thirties far more than her 'horrible twenties'. And it seems she's also happy being single!

The singer, who is about to release her comeback album, Glory, said: “I like my thirties way more than my twenties, twenties were horrible. [Being] In my teens was fun but I like thirties, thirties is great. You know who you really are.”

Britney, who has two sons, split from her fiance Jason Trawick in 2013 and most recently broke up with US television producer Charlie Ebersol after eight months of dating.

When asked about whether she was happy being single, Britney said: “I’m in a really good place right now so I think, I’m just, I’m loving and learning myself every day and learning who I am so it’s just, it’s awakening, it’s cool.”

She added: “It’s OK to be single, yeah, it totally is.”
