X Factor's 'Tesco Mary' - Mary Byrne - wows with her incredible transformation

MARY BYRNE FROM X FACTOR WOWS WITH HER MAKEOVER

She shot to fame on X Factor and Mary Byrne, fondly dubbed 'Tesco Mary', wowed with her transformation.

'While I was on the X Factor they diagnosed me with an underactive thyroid,' she revealed. She went to lose nearly five stone and overhaul her health.

Mary, 58, revealed she's still in touch with some of the contestants from 2010, including One Direction’s Harry Styles! Mary said: ‘I’m still good friends with Wagner on Facebook, he’s a great guy. People said he was this and that but, people didn’t know him. I’m still in contact with Harry but not so much now because he’s become very big.'

Talking about the upcoming series of The X Factor, Mary said she was looking forward to it. 'I love The X Factor. I watched it from the first time it came out up to when I was on it up to now and I love it. ‘It has its ups and down like any other show, but it’s a great show. ‘The panel is great.’
