X Factor exclusive: The judges tell all

Ruth and Jane met up exclusively with X Factor judges, Simon Cowell, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora.
On the rumours that Simon is slightly softer this series because he's now a father, he said, "That's all about the edit!"
Talking about being a father to 18 month old Eric, Simon said, "It's definitely made me happier. If someone had said to me two or three years ago that you're going to have a kid, I'd have said, 'yeah right!'"
Simon spoke of his mother, who he lost earlier this year, "She was a huge fan of the show and it kind of made the decision of when to go back. It's hard. It really was what she would have said to me, 100 per cent to go back."
