TV-am’s fitness fanatic 'Mad Lizzie’ gives Andrea, Penny, Carol and Kaye a workout

BREAKFAST TV LEGEND 'MAD' LIZZIE WEBB PUTS ANDREA, PENNY, CAROL AND KAYE THROUGH A HIP-THRUSTING WORKOUT!

It's been 35 years since fitness instructor 'Mad' Lizzie Webb made her debut on ITV breakfast show TV-am.

And today, the 70-year-old made her return to daytime TV as she appeared on our panel.

It was Lizzie who gave Take That their big break after spotting the then-struggling pop group and inviting them to perform a workout with her to their new song 'It Only Takes A Minute Girl'.

The 1992 broadcast proved a huge turning point in the boy band's career and the song ended up at No.7 on the UK singles chart.

'I'd seen them on TV. I thought, 'These guys have got something,' and asked if they'd like to come on TV with me. We played It Only Takes a Minute Girl and it got them in the charts. Nicky Chapman was their plugger at the time and said me a note saying thank you.'
