The Barton brothers, Anthony Quinlan and Michael Parr, reveal who killed Emma in Emmerdale: ‘It was Rita from Corrie!’

EMMERDALE’S ANTHONY QUINLAN AND MICHAEL PARR DISCUSS THE TENSE REVEAL OF WHO KILLED EMMA BARTON

The Barton brothers, played by Anthony Quinlan and Michael Parr joined Christine, Linda, Janet and Stacey to discuss Emmerdale’s current storyline as the tension ramps up as their characters - Ross and Pete - are accused of playing a part in their mother’s death.

We quizzed the pair straight away, asking the question on everyone’s lips: Who was involved inEmma Barton’s mysterious death?

With seven character under suspicion, Michael joked ‘it was Rita from Corrie!’ But he did reveal they have filmed multiple endings to avoid anyone finding out the truth.

‘They've done that because these things have a habit of getting out, so why take the risk? Film lots of endings; it's all down to the power of the edit,’ he explained.

Michael and Anthony also discussed why their characters are prime suspects.

Michael quipped, ‘Ross has got probably the most reason because she obviously tried to kill him before, killed his favourite brother, so I think he’s probably got the most reason.’ before Anthony asked: ‘Is that not a valid reason?’

He also set the record straight over his clean-shaven appearance in the Strictly audience over the weekend, to support his former co-star Gemma Atkinson.
