Sunetra Sarker

Sunetra was welcomed into the Loose Women family in 2021, but her first taste of fame came in 1988 when she was cast as 'Nisha Batra' in Channel 4 soap, ‘Brookside’. She then went on to play man-eating nurse 'Anji Mittel' in ‘No Angels’, before landing the biggest role of her career in ‘Casualty’ as doctor 'Zoe Hanna'. 

We’ve also seen her in ‘The Bay’, ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ and 2014’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ alongside fellow Loose Women panellist Frankie Bridge. In 2022, Sunetra made her RSC debut by playing 'The Ghost of Christmas Present' in ‘A Christmas Carol’ alongside Adrian Edmondson.
