Sophie Morgan
Having turned tragedy into triumph, Sophie is now a well-known TV presenter, podcaster and disability campaigner. Sophie suffered a T6 spinal cord injury in a road traffic accident in 2003, resulting in paralysis from the chest down, but has used the experience as an opportunity to inspire others.
Since transitioning into a wheelchair, she has been voted one of the most influential disabled people in the UK and has led powerful campaigns for disabled rights, presented numerous factual programmes and has been a regular part of Channel 4's Paralympics coverage. She is open and candid about the reality of being disabled, and is determined to bring about positive change.
Sophie joined the Loose Women in 2021.
