Samantha Fox on being gay: 'Don't be scared about coming out like I was'
SAMANTHA FOX ON BEING A GAY WOMAN
Samantha Fox talked candidly about coming out on the show - having never said 'I'm gay' before.
When asked if she finds it hard to say 'I'm gay?' Sam admitted, 'A little bit. Because it's a label and I believe in love, you can't help who you fall in love with. I can't ever see myself marrying a guy.'
'The fact I was with Myra for 16 years and now I'm in love with a woman again - I guess I would say that I prefer I can be with women.'
Having kept her sexuality a secret for so much of her career, Sam spoke honestly about how difficult it can be.
'It was much harder for women then, it was hard for me,' she revealed. 'I spoke to my mum about it at a young age. She was really pleased I'd found myself to be honest.'
And Sam had some advice for other women who are gay and bisexual: 'I would say to any woman at home now watching - Don't be scared about coming out like I was and worrying about what people think. Love is a great thing and you've got to live life today.'
