Michael Flatley's last dance
From blue collar beginnings on the south side of Chicago, Irish-American Michael Flatley strutted and toe tapped his way to the top, becoming the most famous Irish dancer in the world and amassing a fortune on the way.
He was recently ranked number seven on the Sunday Times Rich list for musicians with an estimated worth of £195m. He has entertained millions around the world since his breakthrough success with Riverdance in 1994 and has spawned countless spin offs.
Michael joined us today ahead of his show Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games moving to London’s Playhouse Theatre in October, and his final ever performance at the Lyric Theatre on New York’s Broadway in the New Year.
