Life Before Loose: Nadia opens up about family and career in emotional interview
To celebrate our upcoming 20th anniversary, we looked back at 'Life Before Loose' with the show's legendary panelists. She's been with us from the very start, so who better to begin with than with the wonderful Nadia Sawalha.
In an emotional interview, Nadia looked back at her childhood and relationship with her family. She explained the tremendous pride in her Arabic roots and reminisced about life as a young actress trying to hit the big time.
Showbiz and of course a spot of Albert Square chat were also topics of discussion in the first of a series of 'Life Before Loose' interviews. Nadia discussed her acting career and explained why she felt unhappy at EastEnders.
She also emotionally opened up about losing her first husband, Justin Mildwater.
