Judy Finnigan

I'm probably best known for hosting This Morning for 13 years with my husband, Richard Madeley, having recorded the first episode in October 1988, live from Liverpool’s Albert Dock.

After leaving This Morning in 2001 we went on to present ‘Richard & Judy’ on Channel 4. During this time we started the Richard & Judy Book club, which was responsible for a revolution in the nation’s reading habits that still remains a popular today.

I know I said I wouldn't go back on the telly, but actually I'm looking forward to contributing to lively conversations between a group of outspoken and intelligent women!

I'm best know for: Launching This Morning in 1988 and presenting it for 13 years with my husband.

The proudest moment in my career is: Interviewing Hilary Clinton.

The first thing I do in the morning is: Have a boiled egg.

My favourite lunch is: Sunday roast with my family.

The most famous person in my phonebook is: I hate talking over the phone, so no-one.

The actress who would play me in a film about my life is: Meryl Streep.

If I wasn’t presenting Loose Women, I’d be: Writing my next novel.

The one thing I couldn’t live without is: My children.
