Jedward and Tara Reid are supporting each other in lockdown: We lost our mums in the same year and can relate to each other's situation

Jedward and Tara Reid told the Loose Women that they made a conscious decision to live together during lockdown because they wanted to support each other through this difficult time.

The X Factor twins and American Pie star, who first met on Celebrity Big Brother and have remained close friends, said that losing their mothers in the same year had brought them closer together.

"Tara and us, we all lost our moms within the same year," the twins explained. "It was a very hard time for us all and in this time, our families that we would have had, that we would have quarantined with are not there. So us all together, we can kind of relate to each others' situation and look after each other."

The chat was cut short due to technical difficulties, but Tara and Jedward wanted to tell us more about what they've been up to in lockdown and why they're really keen to do I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

They also had some special messages for Stacey and the Loose Women, so, with the help of Tara's boyfriend, they recorded an extended interview, just for us!

The trio told the panel that they've been keeping very busy during lockdown, doing the cleaning and the cooking.

"We've been cooking, Tara is a great cook but she doesn't have a cleaner right now so we've been doing all the windows and cleaning the floors," Edward said.

They also introduced us to Tara's dogs, Beso and Bella, who made an adorable appearance during the interview.
