Jahmene Douglas and mother Mandy open up about harrowing domestic abuse
On yesterday's show, the Women conducting a very powerful and moving interview with Jahmene Douglas and his mother Mandy about the abusive environment in which Jahmene and his family suffered for many years.
"I think for me at home there was a clear divide between light and dark. So if I didn't have my mum I could have easily have fallen into addiction, drinking, you know being a rebel.
"But my mum, she never cussed my dad and she was always just a good example of what love should be. I guess I'm just lucky to have been brainwashed by the right person."
Jahmene and Mandy were on a special edition of Loose Women, which celebrated mothers, ahead of Mother's Day this Sunday.
