Ivana Trump says daughter Ivanka could be the first female president of the United States
Ivana Trump has tipped her daughter, Ivanka, to follow in father Donald Trump's footsteps and become the first female President of the United States.
Speaking with the Loose Women during an exclusive interview, Trump's former wife explained why she believed her daughter would be perfect for the role.
"I think she’s in the White House every day, she’s next to her father every day, she knows all that is going around," Ivana said. "I think she could be, one day, the first woman President, definitely. She’s smart as hell, she’s beautiful."
She also opened up about her relationship with her ex-husband, revealing that she still speaks to him regularly. The pair had a bitter divorce but put their differences aside and became friends for the sake of their children, Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric.
"It took about two years until our prenuptial agreement was finalised and we split whatever we had to split and then we talked about the kids - we had three wonderful kids to raise," Ivana explained.
"Eric was at the time 4, Ivanka was probably 6 and Donald Jr was 12, something like that. They needed people who would look after them and guide them. After all that was solved we became very good friends."
