Hollywood star Warwick Davis on family life: 'I would never push my kids into doing something they didn't want to.'
HOLLYWOOD STAR WARWICK DAVIS REVEALED THAT DOCTORS FEARED HE WOULDN'T LIVE PAST HIS TEENS.
The actor has been in the business for 37 years now and has racked up an impressive list of films on his C.V. including Star Wars, Harry Potter and Willow.
But Warwick said that as a child his health was a concern for doctors as science was not on his side back then.
'The prognosis was not good for me. I was born in the 70s so medically science was not quite what it is today. Seeing a child as small as me and in the position I was in, puzzled the doctors really. They gave me a pretty grim outlook.'
But Warwick proved doctors wrong and began acting at a young age in Hollywood movies as well as TV. He said that his positive outlook has helped him in life.
'It's just about keeping positive. I'm a believer in mind over matter. If you keep positive and keep focused you can overcome a lot of difficulties.'
The actor also revealed that his daughter Annabelle has followed in his footsteps and is also acting, something that he fully supports.
'I would never push my kids into something that they didn't want to do. Acting is a tough industry.'
