Gloria Hunniford: I feel violated

It was easier for four strangers to go in and take my money. When I phone up my bank I have to answer about nine obscure questions.

Gloria Hunniford

Gloria Hunniford today spoke exclusively about the bank scam which saw a fraudster steal £120,000 from her bank account.

A lady walked into Santander posing as the TV presenter- who ironically hosts a show called Rip Off Britain - and managed to add her grandson's name to the account.

She said: "I have lost all faith in banks. I feel violated. I have no trust for the banks."

Gloria, 76, continued: "It was easier for four strangers to go in and take my money than it is for me to get access to it."

Asked if the situation had been cleared up now, Gloria emotionally replied: "Not in my mind."
