Marnie shot to fame partying hard and stripping off on the reality shore Geordie Shore but today she talked about experiencing body dysmorphia.

'I'm a lot better with body dysmorphia,' Marnie explained. 'At the beginning of last year was when I went to see someone about it. I was like, "What's wrong with us?" I pull myself apart all the time in the mirror.'

'It started after being in the public eye. I used to be confident before. Trolls really get you down. Geordie girls gets the harsh brunt of it.'

Marnie, who has had lipo, a nose job and work done on her breasts, insists she wont have anymore cosmetic enhancements.

'Now I'm like enough is enough, no matter what you do you’ll never be happy,' she said.

Marnie was joined by her mum Sharon Kyle who admitted she watches her daughter's x-rated antics on TV with her!

Marnie Simpson and her mum Sharon

'I watch the show with her!' Marnie told us. 'Don’t get me wrong, if she thinks I’m wrong – I’ll be first to know. I tell my mum everything - even sexy time!Talking about her saucy scenes on Geordie Shore, Marnie said, 'I think it’s the sound effects on the show that makes it worse. It’s just a little fumble under the covers. Love Island is much more bad.'

'I’ve been very open minded. I don’t know, it's a northern thing. I left her to do her own thing,' Sharon told us.

'That’s why I get up to the antics that I do, nothing shocks her. She trusts me,' Marnie added.

The pair are extremely close, with Marnie declaring, 'She’s my best friend.'

And Sharon explained, 'For a long time it was just me and Marnie. There were some parts of the book [Marnie's autobiography Stripped Bare] that shocked me. There were a lot of relationships, she kept a lot from me... Knowing everything that happened was emotional. She’s sensitive, people don’t see it. I would love for people to see the other side of her. She's such a good person.'
