Exclusive: Robbie Williams opens up about his mental health problems and rehab 'I'd be dead without therapy'
ROBBIE WILLIAMS OPENS UP ABOUT THERAPY AND REHAB '
Robbie joined wife Ayda, Janet, Coleen and Andrea to talk about his number one album, The Heavy Entertainment Show, and opened up about his time in rehab and therapy.
'My hedonism was way too much for this planet and I wanted to stay here so I had to do something about it,' Robbie said.
'Without therapy I'd be dead. I went to rehab a couple of times and done a lot of therapy and me masking or meditating it led to a lot of bad things. I nearly was no longer here,' he added.
'It didn't take a lot of guts because I'm a classic oversharer, I say this is me and this is every bit of me. I'm not being brave. Maybe that's part of the illness too.'
Robbie paid tribute to his Loose Women wife for helping him to turn his life around, saying, 'My life is way better because Ayda is in it. My life is richer now because of what I have been through. I still have those downs but right now I'm up here.'
Ayda said: 'We'll be very open with [our children] and we are now. We both come from heavy therapy and we like to very honest with them about it - and I know it sounds hippy but it's what we believe.'
