Exclusive: Daniel O'Donnell and wife Majella talk about her cancer battle
Legendary singer Daniel O'Donnell and his wife Majella recently returned from a cruise after taking 18 months off during her cancer treatment in 2013.
And in an emotional interview, they revealed how they coped during that tough time.
'I think from my point of view it's an incredible shock,' Daniel says. 'And anyone, I suppose who has been through it and so many people have faced the same thing. It's an incredible shock when the doctor gives the diagnosis. But Majella immediately became the strength and it was her idea to do the head shave.'
'Everything is great, thank God, so far,' says Majella, who raised thousands for a cancer charity.
Daniel goes on tour in the UK again next April and his new album, I Have A Dream, is released on 28 October 2016.
