He's the dishy Aussie doctor who we've adored for over two decades. Alan Fletcher - aka Dr Karl Kennedy - joined Ruth, Coleen, Nadia and Linda to talk about his time on the soap and a shocking new storyline.
'Jackie Woodburne [Susan Kennedy] is simply one of the best actresses in Australian and I'm so blessed she works with me because she makes me look good!' Alan says. 'We're very, very close friends.'
After 22 years on the show, Alan is happier than ever and has a juicy storyline coming up for Karl.
'There's going to be a hot air ballon which comes down,' Alan explains. 'There are a lot of injured people and Karl Kennedy and some of the others rush to the scene. Karl has been at a stag do the night before and the question is - is he fit and capable of intervening here? It's a huge story and it's going to have major ramifications for Karl.'
