Ex-EastEnders actress Shana Swash and award-winner Steven Brandon, who has Down's Syndrome, on their emotional movie
SHANA SWASH AND STEVEN BRANDON TALK ABOUT THEIR MOVIE MY FERAL HEART
Ex-EastEnders actress Shana joined us with friend and co-star Steven to talk about their new movie, My Feral Heart.
In the emotional film, Steven, who has Down's Syndrome, plays Luke who is forced to move into a home after the death of his mother. Shana plays his friend Eve.
And Steven has already won a Best Actor award, beating some stiff competition. 'I was up against Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor, Daniel Radcliffe. This is my first role. I was ecstatic when I got the part. It wasn't hard to learn my lines. I was better than Shana!'
Steven's dad Mike also joined us in the audience and said, 'When Steven was born they told me it was possible he won't talk and wouldn't amount to much. And look. Since the film I reckon he's matured 20 odd years.'
Shana also gave us an up date on life after EastEnders - which Steven said he would love to join.
