Engelbert Humperdinck reads emotional poem for his wife Patricia who has had Alzheimer's for the past 10 years

ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK READS POEM WRITTEN FOR HIS WIFE WHO HAS ALZHEIMER'S

Engelbert recently appeared on the show with Christine, Jane, Gloria and Stacey and spoke about his wife Patricia Healey battling Alzheimer's for the past decade.

He stayed to continue talking to us about his life with Patricia and read an emotional poem he'd written for her.

'It’s been going on 10 years now,' Engelbert told us previously. 'It’s been very hard for us to discuss it publicly. I was never ashamed of the fact - I would make sure she could see me and hopefully recognise me.'

Watch the video to see Engelbert talk movingly about living with a loved one who has Alzheimer's.

We have Alzheimer's helplines here.
