Bad Girls reunited! Claire King and Debra Stephenson want to bring back the prison drama!
BAD GIRLS STARS CLAIRE KING AND DEBRA STEPHENSON REUNITED!
It's been 13 years since the doors of HMP Larkhall closed for good. But Claire and Debra - who played Governor Karen Betts and evil Shell Dockley - were reunited on the show.
And they revealed they'd love to bring the show which aired on ITV from 1999 to 2006.
'It was such good fun, it really was,' Claire said. 'You'd think it would be a nightmare with 30, 40 women all trapped in the same area for eight months of the year, but actually we did make it fun, because it was such a depressing place to work in.'
As for bringing the show back, Claire was up for it with Debra - who is currently starring in musical Son of a Preacher Man - saying, 'I would do it. I don’t think I can see myself going back to Coronation. The work schedule on that is relentless. Doing a drama like Bad Girls is a bit different. At that time there was nothing really had broken down those boundaries. But now when you look at Orange Is The New Black …'
