Alan Fletcher on Neighbours: 'It’s not just Izzy coming back to wreak havoc on Karl and Susan'

Alan Fletcher, who's known to millions of fans all around the world as Neighbours'Doctor Karl Kennedy, has appeared in 23 of the show’s 33 year history! He joined us to talk about the soap's infamous Izzy Hoyland, who's set to make a spectacular comeback to Ramsay Street in a one-hour special. Can soap's strongest couple survive?

Talking to the panel, he revealed; “It’s not just Izzy coming back to wreak havoc on Karl and Susan... We have some very old familiar faces rushing back.

"The ending is something that will put people’s hearts in their mouths. It’s a great episode."

Talking about trouble-making Izzy (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) he added: "It causes enormous tension but it’s an amazing story.

"Izzy is not a simple villain. Sometimes you look and you say, ‘Oh, I see why she’s doing that.’ It’s not just straight evil."
