TheNational Parent Partnership
Parent Partnership Services (PPS) offer advice and support to parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs. They are statutory services which means there has to be one in every local authority. They are free, impartial and confidential services. They run a confidential helpline, offer support in preparing for and attending meetings,help in filling in forms and writing letters/reports, as well as supporting parents/carers in resolving disagreements with school and the LEA and signposting to other statutory and voluntary services.
