Following the confirmation of the health authorities and the Ministry of Sport on Tuesday 3rd March, The 78th edition of Paris-Nice will take place with 19 teams on the start-line. Considering the exceptional circumstances, additional invitations have been extended to two UCI ProTeams; B&B Hotels-Vital Concept and Circus-Wanty Gobert.

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus some teams have made the decision to withdraw from the race however Bora-Hansgrohe have confirmed a strong team lineup including Peter Sagan and Pascal Ackermann. Lotto Soudal will also have a seven man lineup including Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan, Philippe Gilbert and Thomas De Gendt.
Deceuninck-QuickStep announced their lineup which includes last year's Tour de France hero Julian Alaphilippe, Irish sprinter Sam Bennett and Danish champion Michael Mørkøv.
Colombian Nairo Quintana heads up a strong Team Arkea Samsic that includes Warren Barguil, Nacer Bouhanni and the British contingent of Dan McLay and Connor Swift.
