2018 was the year that Geraint Thomas proved the cycling world he could do it by winning the Tour de France.

The Welshman, an Olympic Gold winner, had always fulfilled his domestique duties at the Tour for Team Sky and lieutenants Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins.

However in 2018 the stars finally aligned and 'G' proved to be the strongest rider in the race and captured the famous yellow jersey.

La Rosière, Alpe d'Huez and the Pyrenees all came and went but Thomas held onto the jersey by the time the peloton arrived in Paris.

Starting on Saturday, ITV4 will show highlights from all 21 stages of Thomas's victory. The ITV Hub will be hosting each episode once transmitted on air.
