Froome: Nibali blamed me for crash
Team Sky rider Chris Froome says he went onto rival team Astana's bus to clear the air over an accident on Stage 6.
Italian Nibali was knocked over in the incident in final moments on Thursday's stage, but managed to get to the finish line, but he was not happy with Froome.
"There was some confusion out of the road; Vincenzo [Nibali] was a bit hot under the collar and blamed me for the accident on the road, so I just went onto the Astana bus to clear things up."
Froome confirmed he wouldn't be wearing the yellow jersey on Friday, after leader Tony Martin was forced to retire from the Tour due to injury.
The UCI said no one would wear on Friday, with Froome admitting he would have turned it down if offered it.
