Froome: I gambled and it paid off
Chris Froome admitted that his late attack on his rivals on Stage 8 was unplanned: "I thought, why not, let me give it a try and let's see… this is what the sport is about, it's about trying your luck. I gambled, I took a risk and it paid off."
