Froome exclusive: I won't go for all three Grand Tours in 2015

Chris Froome spoke to ITV.com reporter Matt Rendell in Japan, at the season-closing Saitama Criterium.

The Team Sky leader claims the mountain-heavy 2015 Tour de France offers a "pretty good route for me" – a positive spin, no doubt – but admits the 2015 Giro d'Italia route is "more rounded" and represents a "really good opportunity" for him to collect another Grand Tour victory.

The British rider also laughed off any notion that he might attempt to ride in all three Grand Tours (Giro, Le Tour, La Vuelta) in 2015. Earlier this month, Russian businessman Oleg Tinkov, who owns the Tinkoff-Saxo pro team, offered the the top four GC riders in the world – Froome, plus Vincenzo Nibali, Alberto Contador and Nairo Quintana – one million euros if they would compete against each other in Italy, France and Spain next season.

Froome reiterated, "100%", that he and his team have yet to decide which of the Grand Tours he will compete in next year.
