Former Eastenders and Gavin & Stacey star Larry Lamb already takes the crown for being this year's oldest contestant, but that doesn't faze the legendary actor one bit. "When you get to my age, you are always the old one." He says. "Am I fit? I'm nearly 70 years old and I am fit for a 70 year old. I will stay until I'm booted out!"
For a man with no phobias, this Jungle lark will surely be a doddle. Larry assures us that things that go wrong on stage are far scarier than anything he can think of in the Jungle - remind us to bring that up with him when he's screaming in the face of some creepy critters later.
Bringing a whole new perspective on what life may be like Down Under, Larry comments "If I had to spend a lifetime with people who got on my nerves, then that would be difficult but three weeks is fine. It's like being invited to a big party where nobody knows each other but you are all there together and you've got to get along." That's the spirit, Larry!
