All about: Caitlyn Jenner
American TV star Caitlyn Jenner outlines why she’s taken on the challenge of TV’s toughest Entertainment show – and she predicts it will be hard. “I did the US version of this and it was a very interesting experience last time I did it,” she explains.
“Being in the Jungle is certainly not easy and yes, it’s totally back to basics but I thought this would be a great opportunity to leave everything behind for three weeks.”
Caitlyn admits she’ll find dealing with her fellow Campmates the toughest part of doing I’m A Celebrity. “Dealing with other people is by far the hardest thing,” she explains. “It’s much more difficult than dealing with the most poisonous snakes in the world. That’s easy - just stay away from them!”
Eating rice and beans is not an issue for Caitlyn who describes herself as the type of person who is happy to muck in with all of the Camp chores. She also promises to be on hand to solve any arguments.
So what does Caitlyn’s famous family think about her going on I’m a Celebrity? Laughing, she says they did ask her why she wanted to do it but stresses: “I said, you know what, I need a break, I like challenges.”
To be crowned ‘Queen of the Jungle’, adds Caitlyn, would be a big validation that she had made the right decision to do I’m a Celebrity again.
“I hope the UK loves me!” she says. “I’ll go into the Jungle with a good attitude and a good sense of humour.”
