What we learnt from Day 19
Last night we learnt that the Celeb's have had some very odd crushes over the years and that James is extremely trusting when blindfolded.
1) Harry has a waterbed
We love learning anything to do with Harry’s home life and last night we found out that he sleeps on a waterbed and has done for years!
A cheeky Fleur proceeded to ask Harry whether it gives him the ‘motion in the ocean’ in the bedroom with Sanda and of course, his answer was nothing less than gentlemanly.
Instead of divulging any details, he made the best waterbed pun saying: “I do think me and Sandra are drifting apart.”
2) James has got fantastic balance
We witnessed some extraordinary balance skills from James during last night’s Bushtucker Trial - Ding Dong Merrily Up High.
While dressed as a reindeer and blindfolded, James had to walk along a platform high above the Jungle ground and lean over the terrifying edge to collect presents under the guidance of Father Christmas (Fleur).
James absolutely smashed the Challenge and although they dropped a few of the presents, we think it’s safe to say that everyone was too busy being blown away by his balance.
Dec said: “I think if I was blindfolded up that high, I wouldn’t be able to put one foot in front of the other!”
3) The Campmates have had some funny crushes
Yesterday the Campmates took a trip down memory lane of their past loves and childhood crushes.
The conversation was hilarious and we learnt that Emily used to lust after the candle from Beauty and The Beast, Fleur fancied Buzz Lightyear and that John currently enjoys watching Paddy McGuinness’ Instagram shower videos.
The sweetest moment from the conversation was Harry revealing that the last woman he had a crush on was Julie Christie from the last film that he saw in the cinema - back in the 1960s. Our hearts!
4) Emily’s needs to do some geography homework
Bless Emily and her questionable knowledge about countries and their flags... During last night’s Dingo Dollar challenge with James, it became very clear that geography isn’t her strong point!
Not only had she never heard of Cameroon, but she also didn’t know where Finland was and of the lineup on offer, but she could also only name around four of the flags…
At one point when describing the flag of South Africa she said: “What’s that one with the ‘y’ in it? The green ‘y’?”
5) The Campmates have made their own Jungle slang
After hearing Harry’s stories of old English money and cockney rhymes, the Celeb’s decided to come up with their own Jungle slang.
A few of their creations include:A wink and a smile = A TrialCash and carry = HarrySpotty dick = NickBeen and gone = John
