I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

What we learnt from Day 18

From a terrifying Bushtucker Trial to a trip to the pub, Day 18 taught us that what happens in the Jungle Arms, never stays in the Jungle Arms.

1) Harry hasn’t got to grips with the washing up

The Camp really only has themselves to blame for Harry losing one of the chopping boards while washing up with Fleur last night. After all, when he was first assigned the job he did warn James straight away that he had never done the dishes!

Fleur gave Harry just one duty during the Camp chore - all he had to do was hold the different items while she gave them a scrub. It was all going well until the chopping board slipper from Harry’s grasp and fell straight down the hill...

Harry said: “If a job’s worth doing, keep Harry out of the way.”

2) Nick can’t believe his track got to number one in the charts

After a letter from home revealed that ‘Make You Feel My Love’ by Nick Knowles had got to number one in the charts, Nick hasn’t been able to stop thinking (or singing) about it.

Much to his Campmates quite obvious despair, Nick has been wandering around Camp humming the tune, bringing up the lyrics at every opportunity and dropping the news into conversation whenever he can.

While speculating in the Bush Telegraph, James said: “I’m over the moon for him but… some may say he’s singing more now after hearing the news. Is he going for the Christmas number 1? Who knows...”

3) A sprained ankle won’t stop John Barrowman

Medical boot or no boot, the show must go on!

An unstoppable John stepped up to the Bushtucker Trial last night with Fleur and they absolutely SMASHED IT, bringing back a full set of stars for Camp. Combined, the pair tackled confined spaces, rats, underwater caves and all of the cockroaches…

Trooper John even had to wrap his medical boot in a plastic bag but nevertheless, it just made him look even more FABOUUUULOUS.

4) Nick doesn’t believe that mankind has landed on the moon

Who knew Nick was such a conspiracy enthusiast when it came to the topic of astronauts on the moon!?

While chilling around the campfire, Nick revealed that he believes the moon landing was fake and he was armed with a huge background of knowledge to back his beliefs.

Quizmaster Anne was having none of it though. For each point Nick made, Anne came straight back with some scientific facts to counterbalance it, and the other Campmates didn’t seem convinced by him either.

5) The Campmates LOVED the Jungle Arms

Upon the arrival of the news that the Campmates were in with a chance going to the legendary Jungle Arms, the excitement in Camp reached an all-time high.

Once Emily collected herself after her initial screams she said: “This is the dream. I have always wanted to go to the Jungle Arms. We have got to get this challenge right. I will do anything.”

In true I’m A Celeb style, it was never going to be a stress-free trip to the pub! To gain entrance to the famous establishment, the Celebs had to queue up and face an array of critters but they didn’t let it dampen their spirits (no pun intended) and all of the Camp made it in.

6) Anne has twerked with Peter Andre

Anne is the gift that keeps on giving. First, it was her bursting into song around the campfire and now it’s her stories of twerking!

Once Fleur had gained access to the Jungle Arms, she asked Anne if there was any chance of her twerking in the venue. To Fleur (and everyone’s) surprise, however, Anne revealed that she’s got a bit of a history when it comes to twerking.

She replied: “I have twerked already on stage at the London Palladium with Peter Andre.” Who’d have thought it!?
