I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here

U is for Unlikely Friendships

Every year we throw together the most unlikely combination of personalities and professions… and every year some highly unlikely people become Jungle BFFs.

Before our new batch of Celebrities hop off the plane and straight into each others arms, let's a look at the Celebrities who struck up friendships with the most surprising people over the last couple of years...

1. Lady C and Kieron Dyer

We'll admit it. Never would we have put laid back former international footballer Kieron Dyer with fiery-tempered, sharp-tongued Lady C, but their friendship went from strength to strength with every 'chippy oik' comment that sounded around Camp.

Hit play above to watch as the pair have a real good chinwag about all things sports, and all things Cristiano Ronaldo.

2. Tinchy Stryder and Michael Buerk

It's often said that friends can bring out the best in us, and rapper Tinchy Stryder certainly brought out something in broadcaster Michael Buerk when the journalist was inspired to create his own Jungle rap in 2014. His rhymes covered all the big topics like Kendra's poor hygiene and how his pants are red, but he's got no bed. Classic Tinchy and Buerk.

Watch above as the pair perform for the Campmates East Side, West Side, Camp Side...

3. Ferne McCann and Vicky Pattison

Ferne and Vicky - a friendship made in heaven, but one that could have so easily ended in disaster. Both young and single with a few friends in common, Vicky had previously seen Ferne on TV and wasn't too fussed on how 'aggy' she was. Very, very aggy, apparently. However, that soon all changed once the two got to know each other.

Watch above as Vicky opens up to Ferne about her initial friendship fears.
