Martin Roberts
Occupation: TV presenterAge: 53Phobias: Claustrophobia. I'm not keen on big wasps either.Biggest misconception you want to dispel in the Jungle: What you see is what you get with me. It will be nice for people to get to know the real me. Role in the Camp: A friend, comforter and a shoulder to cry on.Miss most: Aside from my family, my mobile phone as I am attached to it. And coffee - I drink eight cups a day!Dream Campmate: Eddie Izzard would be a riot
He knows a thing or two about property investment, but how will Homes Under The Hammer presenter Martin fare when he downgrades to his new home in the Jungle? It's got a spacious living area, very scenic views, but there has been reports of a slight rodent issue. Don't suppose that will be a problem, Martin?
"The Bushtucker Trials are freaking me out," He admits. "Last night I had to turn the lights on! I was imagining being locked in and I was having a full on nightmare. Rats and scorpions being poured over your head is not my idea of a nice Sunday."
So Bushtucker Trials are a no. How about living on basic Camp rations? "I drink about eight cups of coffee a day and I do like a glass of wine" Looks like another no from Martin. Maybe he should have invested his money elsewhere...
