Bugs, crocs, snakes - what is it that had Emmerdale actress Lucy breaking out in cold sweats as she counted down to her big jungle entrance? “I am most scared of the fear of people not liking you,” she admitted, “That’s the most worrying part really.”

“I’m bricking myself now about going into the jungle,” she confided in us after revealing she accepted the ticket to Oz on the spur of the moment, before she realised the cosy fire and nights in with her daughter and partner back in the UK would be harder to leave behind than she first thought!

At least her wardrobe’s prepared: “I’ve chosen three bikinis. Zoe Henry (Lucy’s Emmerdale co-star) has given me one to wear. I’ve warned her that it’ll be covered in fish guts, but I think she’s more excited to see her bikini in the jungle than she is me.”
