He might be used to leaving an audience in hysterics, but Camp life is certainly no laughing matter for comedian Joel Dommett. "I don't know what to expect - whether it's going to be horrific, brilliant or enlightening but I am really excited now! It's all starting to sink in."
Despite making people laugh for a living, Joel is keen to firm his role as Camp comforter rather than Camp comedian. "When people are feeling bad, I can bring them back up again. The thing about comedians is we are not the funniest in real life. I am definitely one of the more upbeat ones though."
But the question on everybody's lips is... will Joel be sharing his hammock with any lucky lady in Camp? "I'm not looking to find love in the Jungle. It's an enclosed scenario and I will try not to let feelings be known whilst an entire nation watches!" Oh Joel, you never know what might happen once you're under the stars.
