Jack Maynard is the first vlogger to ever enter the Jungle, and hopes to do the online world proud as he swaps his YouTube channel for the Bush Telegraph.
“To be the first vlogger is a game changer,” says Jack. “You are respected by the younger generation and by doing this programme, it’s going to be nice to show older viewers [what vloggers are all about].”
So how will someone who lives his life on the Internet cope without social media?
“Someone else is going to operate my Twitter account for me,” he admits. "That’s my job and I can’t go silent for that long.”
As a single man, Jack hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a Camp romance. “Where I am in my life right now, getting into a relationship would be a poor decision. But to be in a place for such a long time with a group of people... anything can happen.” Watch this space!
The 22-year-old has been cutting his portions in preparation for the limited food rations, and says he won’t be causing any tension in Camp.
“I’m very chilled out, laid back and not argumentative in the slightest,” Jack assures us.
“I’m going to try and lift everyone’s spirits. I am going to keep everyone happy together.”
