X is for X-its
While some Campmates take Jungle life in their stride, others are planning their exit as soon as they hear the dreaded words 'the Celebrity taking on the next Bushtucker Trial is...'
Life in the Jungle isn't for everyone, and it definitely wasn't for these Celebs...
Daniella Westbrook
Danniella Westbrook has the dubious honour of being the Jungle’s first ever early departure, way back in Series 2. She threatened to quit several times, before finally walking on Day 9, saying she needed her husband. Fair enough – a hug from a spouse always trumps a nighttime visit from a redback spider.
Brian Harvey
A row with Janet Street Porter was the final catalyst in Brian Harvey quitting the Jungle back in Series 4. The lack of decent food and sleep had been getting to Brian, but the harsh tongue of JSP was enough to make him pack his bags.
Natalie Appleton
Five gruelling Bushtucker Trials were bad enough, but the added aggravation of Sophie Anderton meant Natalie Appleton finally threw in the towel on Day 10, just three days after Brian Harvey quit. Those popstars were just dropping like flies, weren't they?
Gemma Collins
No round-up of Campmate exits would be complete without the weeping, wailing, mascara-soaked legend that is Gemma Collins. Perhaps the least surprising departure in the history of I’m A Celebrity…?
Spencer Matthews
Competing with Gemma Collins for the coveted 'only three days in Camp' title, the Jungle, and subsequently, the online jungle, was rocked by the departure of Spencer Matthews early into the last series before he even had chance to make it from Snake Rock to Croc Creek. Who knows how Camp would have fared with the addition of a Chelsea boy? Perhaps Lady C would have been able to stomach her Campmates a little better?
Lady C
Ah, Lady C - perhaps the most memorable Campmate of 2015. Her sharp tongue and fiery temper meant Camp clashes were always on the horizon. Chippy oik, vain old goat, slob, runt, bore... just some of the terms Lady C used to describe Campmates Tony Hadley and Duncan Bannatyne in particular. But Lady C left us all speechless when she had to leave the Jungle just days before the final on medical grounds.
Katie Price
Katie Price returned to the Jungle in 2009 (this time without her legendary blonde braids) but only lasted a grand total of nine days. Maybe Camp didn't feel the same without ex-hubby Peter Andre by her side? Nope. It was probably because you guys at home kept choosing her to do all the Bushtucker Trials. Katie finally called it a day when she was voted to do her seventh Trial. Cruel, the lot of you!
Kimberley Davis
Neighbours star Kimberley Davies had quite a painful exit from the Jungle, after breaking a rib jumping from a helicopter into water. She was determined to stay, bless her, but eventually had to concede hospital was a better place to be than Camp.
