The man, the myth, the TV legend - Noel Edmonds has officially said ‘Deal’ to becoming a Campmate in the I’m A Celebrity Jungle!
On being a late entry, Noel said, “It’s going to feel a bit like turning up to a party a few hours after it’s started - but not even being able to bring a bottle!” We’ll see if we can get him some crocodile feet and fish eyes to offer his Campmates instead...
Noel does have a getaway plan if things do go awry, telling us: “The helicopters they use are the helicopters I fly, so I could turn up and say, ‘Hello... I’m a Celebrity, I’m going to get you out of here!”
Our Deal or No Deal star has put an offer on the table… If he's crowned King of the Jungle, Noel has vowed to retire from our TV screens! He says, “I'm going to win because I promise the British public if they vote for me, I will retire from television and I will never appear again.”
Noel is also prepared for the public to give him a tough ride, “After everything I've done with Gotchas and gunging, I'm well aware they're going to put me through absolute hell and I deserve it! I think the British public will enjoy seeing me finally getting my comeuppance!”
Although our action man is known for his love of flying helicopters, he’s actually terrified of heights, revealing: “I am not great in confined areas. For a helicopter pilot it's strange to admit I have a fear of heights.” But Noel won’t give up without a fight, and vows: “I'm going to give it my best shot. Whatever I do, I’m determined not to let people down. I have a fear of letting people down - I'm a team player.”
This Celeb isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty with Jungle chores. “My role in the camp will be doing the washing up,” Noel claims, adding: “I'm very good at domestic duties and I will keep the place as tidy as I can.” We're expecting a squeaky clean Camp!
