You know you've got a serious fear of spiders when you've had not one, but two, hypnotherapy sessions to calm your nerves before entering the Jungle. "I tend to run away from them or wake my fiancee up to get rid of them," he says. "I've never faced a spider head on which is why I want to do this show. I want to face up to my fears and there is nobetter place to do this."

While we're on the subject of facing fears, the Jungle might be the perfect opportunity for Adam to leave beans on toast behind and try his hand at some delicious Outback delicacies.

Admitting that he's 'not the best of cooks', his Campmates are probably more likely to find him spending Dingo Dollars on digestive biscuits than serving up an ostrich egg omelette.
