6 things we learnt on Day 4 in the Castle
1. Victoria’s punchlines need a little love 🙈
The funniest jokes are the ones that are told three times in a row, right?
Thank goodness Victoria’s little/Lidl joke eventually got a laugh - we’re not sure Shane could have coped with another round.
2. Vernon has no TV regrets 📺
When Giovanna asked Vernon what the worst job he’s ever had was, he replied simply saying: “To be honest with you, and I’m not just saying this, everything I’ve done, I’ve done because I thought it was a good idea or I enjoyed it.”
What a lovely outlook to live a life without regrets.
3. Dec buys excellent birthday presents 💯
As gifts in 2020 go, this is nothing short of a masterpiece. Hope Ant savours every squirt.
4. Bread and butter is one of life’s simple pleasures 👌
Jordan’s face after a tiny slice of bread and butter from last night’s Castle Coin Challenge says it all. Could this moment be his new happy place?
5. The Campmates would make great Castle tour guides 🤣
Bless the Celebs showing their new Campmates around the Castle. From Victoria giving up her bed for Russell, to Giovanna and Jess giving Ruthie a lesson in how to work the shower - they really did go all out to make the newbies feel at home.
Jordan in particular had exceptional tour guide skills and no doubt built up extra excitement for Ruthie and Russell about the Castle bathroom. He really sold the set-up when he said: “That’s the shower but you’ve got to get someone to pump it so there’s no dignity.”
6. Shane is a proper prankster 💩
Poor Jordan can’t get a moment's peace. It’s been a busy few days for the boy - what with abseiling down a cliff, screaming in a vault full of snakes and filling his mouth with a sheep’s penis. And now he can’t even catch a break when he’s on the loo!
As pranks go though, Shane sneakily chucking those rocks on the privy roof as Jordan peed was pretty spectacular.
