5 things we learnt from Day 12
Last night we learnt that Harry Redknapp has never done a puzzle and that Noel rides around town in a bus. Read on for the full story...
1) Noel drives a bus
These Celebs really do have some crazy stories. While talking about driving tests and what cars the Campmates have back home, Noel revealed that he used to drive a black cab but now drives a bus.
Apparently, the unusual methods of transportation allowed Noel to drive down the bus lanes in Bristol and shave an hour off his commute to work. Well, until the council installed extra cameras on the bus lanes.
He said: “Bristol’s traffic is chaotic so I took it into my own hands.”
2) Harry has never done a jigsaw puzzle
Harry absolutely smashed the first event of the Immunity Games… until he got to the puzzle at the end. Unsurprisingly, the footie manager spent his childhood playing with football boots and has subsequently never completed a puzzle.
Harry lost the challenge against Nick and John after falling at the last hurdle (not literally, but almost) and said: “I’m useless at doing puzzles. I’m a bit like a striker who gets in front of the goal, beats eight men but keeps missing. That was me.”
Perhaps Harry and Sandra should take up puzzling as a post-jungle past-time?
3) Fleur has a new name
Fleur has been given a new name by Harry - she is now referred to as Flair.
While picking his team members for the Immunity Games, Harry said: “I’m going to go for Flair. That is her name now, she’s got Flair. That’s why I call her Flair. If you want a bit of Flair, she’s got it.”
Fair play, Flair.
4) The Campmates have been split into four teams
The Immunity Games have officially begun which means the Celebs are battling for points against each other.
The four teams dividing the Campmates are the Galahs, the Kangaroos, the Koalas and the Underdogs.
Only the team with the most points at the end of each day will get a proper meal and the rest are left with rice and beans... Let the games begin!
5) Rita plays with dirty tactics
During the second event of the Immunity Games, one athlete from each team went against each other in a water challenge.
Emily, Rita, James and Malique were chosen and within moments of the task starting, it became clear that all the Camp niceties had gone out the window. Or should we say boat?
Instead of focusing on keeping her boat afloat, Rita decided to distract the other teams. Not only did she lie about there being a prawn in her boat, but she also told Emily that a wasp had flown down her top. Emily summed it up perfectly when she said: “She went full Roxy Mitchelle on me”
Rita’s tactic was a royal fail as she was first out of the competition and Emily sailed through as champion.
