The battle over the ordination of women bishops reaches its conclusion today as members of the Church of England’s General Synod give their vote.
Opinion polls, and voting in the dioceses, show an overwhelming majority of the Church of England are in favour of female bishops.
We are joined by Rose Hudson-Wilkin, the ordained speaker for the House of Commons, and Susie Leafe, a member of the house of laity in the general synod, who discuss why they are for and against women bishops.
