My stalker son needs help
I could see from the minute he came into my bedroom that he was ill
Lily Allen's stalker nightmare started on Twitter in 2011, but quickly escalated when she was bombarded with rants, accusations and letters from Alex Gray, before he eventually broke into her bedroom.
"I feel like he's been let down... I've been let down" the pop star said, as she also revealed she was made to feel like a "nuisance" by the police and wants Alex, 31, to receive help.
We're joined on the sofa by Alex's mother, Michelle, and his sister, Kaylie, who both feel that sentencing Alex won't benefit either party.
"We knew he was getting worse, we tried to get him help and nobody would help us" said Michelle, who, like Lily, feels totally let down by the system, after professionals failed to take her cries for help seriously.
Their message for Lily? "We're really sorry that it's got this far... it's horrendous what her and her family have had to go through". Watch the emotional interview above.
