Mother tells GMB of how she escaped tower fire with family
My friend told me on the phone, 'your building is on fire, it's coming to your floor, get out and be quick'
A woman has told Good Morning Britain of how she and her family escaped the 11th floor of the Grenfell Tower as fire engulfed the building this morning.
Mouna Elogbani, who was at home with her husband and children when the blaze broke out in the early hours of Wednesday morning, told us of how they managed to escape.
Some of the family's neighbours were still trapped in the higher floors at the time of the interview.
"I've heard that one of my neighbours, I think he passed away," Mouna told Piers and Susanna. "We don't know what happened exactly."
